Weapons stolen in Hamilton B&E remain outstanding: Police

Hamilton Police have identified and arrested a man they believe to be responsible for a residential break and enter on Case Street but three stolen weapons have not been located.

Hamilton Police have identified and arrested a man they believe to be responsible for a residential break and enter on Case Street but three stolen weapons have not been located.

On November 27, 2019, shortly after 5:00 p.m., police responded to a residential home on Case Street in Hamilton.

Concerned citizens noticed a garage door was left open and evidence confirming a break-in had occurred.

Police obtained information that a man was seen in the rear yard of the Case Street home.

With the assistance of the K9 unit, the suspect was located with evidence that police say links him back to the break-in. The suspect was arrested shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Police have identified that three weapons were stolen from the residence and they remain outstanding despite attempts to find them. They are:

  • Sidewinder Crossbow
  • Winchester pump-action shotgun
  • Stoger shotgun

Hamilton Police is asking the public should you come across the weapons call 911 immediately and do not touch them.

Liam Campbell, 52-years-old of no fixed address, is charged with break and enter to commit theft, possession Under $5,000, fail to comply with probation, and fail to comply with recognizance x 3.
