The Arkells released a new single and accompanying video Tuesday (Feb. 25) and it’s pretty haaaawwt.
The song, ‘Years in the making,’ is certainly going to be one of those live show tunes that will bring down the house with its big brassy, banging sound.
It’s kind of what you can expect of the Arkells without it growing tired: it’s fun, danceable and anthemic.
“The song was born from the idea – or, the desire – to give value to every past experience,” the band writes on their website.

Their new video features flashy fringe, bunnies, an insanely cute cat and the band hanging out in New Girl-esque warehouse apartment type space.
So far, early social media reviews are overwhelmingly positive and many fans asking for tour dates. Judging from their website, we’ll be seeing a lot of the Arkells in 2020.
“All the hard work leads to the good stuff. And there ain’t no time like the present to shoot your shot,” the band says. “So giddy up! Arkells are back. Years In The Making. 2020. Let’s go.”
