Two-year-old struck at Hamilton intersection

A two-year-old boy was struck by a car at a Hamilton intersection.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 2, an elderly man pulled out of a parking lot on Main St. near Westbourne St, according to Hamilton Police. At that same time, the boy and his family were crossing the street. The car struck the boy as it pulled into the roadway.

The boy was taken to hospital as a precaution. However, he was found not to be seriously hurt. The driver has been charged with careless driving.
