Update: Crash sends motorcyclist to hospital, closes part of Hamilton’s Linc

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital Tuesday morning after colliding with a motor vehicle at the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway.

The motorcyclist is in “stable,” “non-life threatening condition,” Indy Bharaj, spokesperson for the force, told inthehammer.com today (Sept. 19).

The Hamilton expressway was closed to westbound traffic at Garth Street for several hours as police investigated the crash. That part of the Linc reopened just before 11 a.m.

Bharaj said Hamilton police and emergency crews responded to the collision at about 8:40 a.m. today.
