Two men set fire to a restaurant in east Hamilton on Wednesday, Hamilton police said.

Police didn’t report any injuries.

They are looking for witnesses in the targeted arson. They said police and emergency crews responded to the fire on June 21 at about 8:30 a.m. at a restaurant in the area of Beach Road and Kenilworth Avenue North.

Police said investigators discovered that “two suspects used an incendiary device to set fire to the building.” Two people living in the upper-floor apartments were at home sleeping at the time.
