Two Hamilton condos least expensive homes sold in Ontario in November

While home prices in Hamilton (where the unadjusted benchmark price sits at $766,100) are higher than the Canadian average, some properties are selling for well under $500,000.

Real estate website and brokerage Zoocasa recently put out a list of the five most and least expensive homes that changed hands in Ontario this month, and two Hamilton homes made the cut.

In fact, both sold for less than $400,000 at a time when the average condo price sits at $495,705 (according to data recently released by the Realtors Association of Hamilton-Burlington).

Here’s a look at both:

411 – 175 Hunter St

This Corktown-area condo recently sold for $370,000 after being listed for $299,000. Boasting one bedroom, one bathroom and over 700 square feet of space, the open-concept suite offers a modern living room and large walk-in closet. The unit also offers in-suite laundry and a parking spot next to the elevator.

404 – 36 James St S

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo spans over 600 square feet and offers a sleek, elegant aesthetic. Sold for $330,000 after being listed at $339,000, the unit offers a den, stainless steel appliances, modern updates and proximity to a number of amenities, including shops, restaurants, the farmers’ market, the waterfront, transit and more.
