“In these cases, we work closely with public health and follow their guidance to ensure proper notification of close contacts and required cleaning and sanitization in our stores,” Loblaw’s says on their website.

“In all of our stores, we encourage our colleagues and employees to wear masks, particularly where physical distancing is not always possible.”

These are the second and third confirmed COVID-19 cases among Hamilton grocery store employees in just over a week.

On August 19, it was reported that an employee at a Metro on the East mountain had tested positive for the virus.
