Two dead in Hamilton bar shooting

Hamilton Police are investigating a shooting and double homicide that took place this morning in Hamilton.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m., police reported a shooting at Sam’s Tavern on Barton Street East.

There were multiple victims. One victim was immediately reported deceased, and a second person succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

The deceased victims are a male and female. Police confirm that two other male victims were injured and are now in stable condition.

There is no suspect description at this time.
