Hay maze, pirate ship to transform Gore Park into Halloween Spooktacular party in Hamilton

To get into the Halloween spirit, you’ll have a chance this Friday to be up-close with creepy crawlers, ride a spinning pumpkin and explore a hay maze.
Gore Park will host a free Halloween-themed party with everything from a Fun House to Urban Zoo’s reptile tent in Hamilton.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Friday (Oct. 27), the annual Halloween Spooktacular returns to downtown Hamilton.
There’s also a pirate ship, magician, face painting and costumed stilt walkers (from 6 to 7:30 p.m.), among other family friendly activities and large-scale attractions.
All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged, said the Downtown Hamilton BIA.
You can also decorate your own sugar cookies, cement your memories in a photo booth and enjoy a DJ dance party. There’s even a cotton candy and a Halloween craft station.
