Suspect sought in Hamilton gas station robbery

The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male accused of robbing a Flamborough gas station on Aug. 3.
The Hamilton Police BEAR Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male accused of robbing a Flamborough gas station on Aug. 3.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m.. police received a call regarding a robbery at the Petro on Concession Road 6 E.
The suspect may have been armed.
“The suspect attended the gas station and demanded cash from the employee,” according to Hamilton Police. “The suspect mentioned having a weapon but one was not seen.”
The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, said police.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a male between 17 and 23 years of age with a dark complexion and thin build. The suspect was seen wearing a dark sweater with a hoody, a black toque, and black jogging pants. He was also reportedly wearing socks with flip flops and a blue surgical mask.
