Two suspects are at large after shots were fired at a man in Hamilton in what police describe as a “targeted” attack.

A silver or grey four-door Honda sedan rolled up on a man and woman, both in their 50s, around 10 a.m. on April 4 in downtown Stoney Creek. Hamilton Police believe the Honda’s passenger fired several rounds at the pair. The car then sped off down Mountain Avenue.

Investigators are working to identify both the driver and the passenger. The victims were not stuck and no injuries were reported. Police confirmed the man was the intended target.

This is the second targeted shooting in Hamilton in as many months. On March 6, Alexander Circiumaru, 19 of Hamilton, was killed in a drive-by shooting in the city’s downtown. Two suspects were also involved in this shooting; a driver and a shooter. However, there appears to be no link between the attacks.

Anyone with video of the area at the time, or information about the shooting can call police at 905-546-4883.
