Shooting reported overnight in Hamilton, 3 people arrested

Hamilton Police are investigating a report of shots fired Monday night.

Officers responded to the Gage Avenue South and Lawrence Road area for possible shots fired Monday (Dec. 4), shortly after 11 p.m., Hamilton Police said in a press release.

Three people were arrested and one of the suspects suffered a minor injury, police said. There was no word on what type of injury the person sustained.

Hamilton Police ask area residents to check their surveillance cameras and vehicle dash camera footage for any suspicious activity between the hours of 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. on Monday and contact investigators with anything suitable for review.
