Police are turning to the public for help as they search for a Hamilton man who hasn’t been seen since his truck was found abandoned on the Burlington Skyway Bridge several weeks ago.

Charanpreet Singh, 25, a long-haul transport truck driver, was last seen on Dec. 14, according to Hamilton Police. On that same day, his truck was found abandoned on the QEW bridge, near Eastport Drive.

Police describe Singh as Indian, five-foot-six, and about 140 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing a black turban, grey jacket, grey shirt, black sweatpants and black running shoes. He also has a half-sleeve tattoo of a tiger’s face between his wrist and elbow.

Police say Singh is known to frequent Brampton and Edmonton.

“Police express concern for Charanpreet’s well-being,” investigators said in a news release. “The collaboration of the community is crucial in ensuring Charanpreet’s safe return. We appreciate your assistance in this matter.”

Anyone with information about Singh’s whereabouts can call police at 905-546-2907 or 905-546-2963. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
