Hamilton police say they have concluded a ground search of the area where human remains were found by a person walking their dog last week in a Northeast End park.

Hamilton police say they have concluded a ground search of the area where human remains were found by a person walking their dog last week in a Northeast End park.

On October 23, 2019, a person in the community was walking their dog when they located a pelvic bone at the Windermere Basin Park.

A ground search started on Friday morning on behalf of the Coroner’s Office with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit.

An extensive ground search was conducted but nothing else has been located.
