Famous primatologist and anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall is set to speak at the Royal Botanical Gardens(RBG) in Hamilton on Oct. 18.

Dr. Goodall is an expert in chimpanzee behaviour, as well as a United Nations Messenger of Peace, and Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute.

In a ‘one-night-only’ event held at 680 Plains Rd W, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in an intimate question-and-answer session with Dr. Goodall.

RGB has revealed certain details of the event, “a keynote presentation where she will recount her lifetime of experiences and share her inspiring reasons for hope,” the website stated.

Interested individuals can register for this event via the RBG’s website, however, due to overwhelming demand for this exclusive gathering, the organizers have advised pre-registering for the event.

“Registration will open on Sept. 8, via RBG’s website, and will close at 11:59 pm on Sept. 17,” event organizers stated in the announcement.

Once registration closes, a lottery system will randomly select individuals and those selected will be contacted by email on Sept.  18 with instructions on the next steps to purchase your tickets.

RBG will be making the official announcement on Sept.8,  about her visit and presentation topic, on their website.
