While drivers will be fine to get home from work, later tonight (August 14) all of Hamilton and Niagara Region can expect heavy rain and possible thunderstorms lasting all day tomorrow as well.
Environment Canada is saying the entire Golden Horseshoe area will see clouds tonight that later turn into rain and possibly thunderstorms.
More of the same tomorrow (August 15) except what starts tonight will continue all day and evening on Tuesday.
The weather agency says, “Total local rainfall amounts near 50 mm (two inches) are possible by the time the rain clears the area Tuesday night.”
However, if residents can hang on through the next 36 hours, Wednesday (August 16) is looking for sunny skies and a high of 24C.
There’s a early prediction that it could flip back to rain on August 17 but the weekend is looking like sunny days once again.
