A power outage is in effect this afternoon in Stoney Creek.

Alectra Utilities has reported an outage in the area from the QEW to Lake Ontario, between Winona Road and east of Fifty Road.
Approximately 879 homes and businesses are affected.
Crews are on site investigating.
