A power outage is in effect this afternoon.

Around 5:00 p.m., Alectra Utilities reported an outage in the area of Quinndale and Templemead.

Approximately 1,321 homes and businesses in the area are affected.

A crew was dispatched and power is estimated to return by 8:00 p.m.
