Police still searching for Hamilton woman who escaped from St. Joseph’s Forensic Psychiatry Unit

Hamilton Police Service (HPS) is still searching for a woman from Hamilton.
Just before 1:30 p.m. yesterday (July 14) afternoon, HPS was notified that 38-year-old Crystal Lavergne had escaped custody from St. Joseph’s Forensic Psychiatry Unit.
Lavergne is described as white, approximately 5’1″ tall, roughly 150 lbs, with short blonde hair, a star tattoo above the right side of her lip, and a chin and nose piercing.
She was last seen in the Kitchener area.

Anyone who sees Lavergne is instructed to contact 9-1-1 and not to approach her, as she may become hostile.
