Police searching for missing 16-year-old boy in Hamilton

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old Hamilton boy.

Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing 16-year-old Hamilton boy.

Hamilton police say that before 8:00 am on Saturday, June 27, 2020, Jeremiah Alcantara left his residence in the Stone Church Road East and Upper Wentworth Street area on his BMX bicycle.

He has not been seen since.

“There is a concern for Jeremiah as he is considered vulnerable and requires support. He is not usually away from home for long periods of time and he will require assistance in returning as he is not able to navigate this on his own,” police said in a statement.

Alcantara is described as a Southeast Asian male who is 5’5″ and 150 pounds. He has a medium build, short black hair an brown eyes. His bicycle is rust-brown with red and white rims. 

Anyone who sees him or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Division Three Staff Sergeant’s Office by calling 905-546-3886.


UPDATE: Police say Jeremiah Alcantara has been located.
