Police release videos of weekend shooting in Hamilton

Hamilton Police have released two videos in hopes of identifying suspects involved in a Sunday night shooting.

Police continue to investigate the incident which took place shortly after 10 p.m. on Oriole Crescent and are appealing to the public for their assistance.

The two video clips show the shooting when a vehicle arrived at 2 Oriole Crescent.

“An individual was observed standing out of the sunroof of the vehicle and fired multiple rounds at nearby vehicles and residences,” said Hamilton Police.

No physical injuries have been reported to police.

Police have recovered the vehicle used in the shooting and continue to see the people involved in the shooting.

“One suspect can be observed standing out of the sunroof of the vehicle shown in the video clips,” said police. “The suspect was observed to be wearing a black or dark-coloured hoodie and a blue medical mask.

Police are also asking residents in the area to review their security surveillance for any suspicious activity between the hours of 9:50 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. on Sunday (May 26).

Those driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage that could help in the investigation are asked to contact police.
