Police release images of suspect in Hamilton robbery case; public assistance sought

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man involved in a robbery that occurred in Hamilton on Sept.1
According to authorities, at approximately 4:30 p.m. the suspect entered a business in the area of Upper James St. and Rymal Rd. W., and demanded money while brandishing a firearm.
He was able to get a small amount of cash before fleeing the area southbound on foot.
Police say the man was last seen near Malton Dr. from Christie St., and is still at large.
No injuries were reported during the robbery.
He is described as 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with an average build, and was initially seen wearing a black/white “Hollister” hoodie.
The man wore dark pants, a mask, and black shoes with white soles; he later removed his sweater, revealing a white t-shirt.
