Police looking for missing hospital patient in Hamilton

Police request the public’s help in locating a missing person.
Thomas Hart, 59, is currently an involuntary patient in the Forensic Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Thomas Hart, 59, is currently an involuntary patient in the Forensic Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, Hart left the hospital which is located at 100 West 5th Street.

“Hospital staff immediately reported him missing to police,” police say.
Hart is described as a white man, 6’0” tall, 200 lbs, with short grey hair and a short grey scruffy beard. He was wearing a white sweater with blue stripes, a black ACDC shirt, grey sweatpants, a blue/white winter coat with brown fur trim, and black and yellow running shoes.
Anyone who sees Hart or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
