Police investigating suspicious incident in Hamilton

Hamilton Police continue are investigating what they’re calling a “suspicious” incident involving a vehicle and three occupants at the Lexington Avenue and Columbus Gate intersection. 

Hamilton Police continue are investigating what they’re calling a “suspicious” incident involving a vehicle and three occupants at the Lexington Avenue and Columbus Gate intersection. 

On Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019, shortly after midnight, officers arrived area after receiving information about an unusual incident that involved a woman seemingly exiting a moving vehicle. 

Police say security footage captured a female exiting a vehicle travelling south on Lexington. Police say the vehicle stopped and two male occupants exited and helped the woman back into the vehicle.

Police say it was last seen travelling east on Columbus Gate.

The vehicle is described as a newer model, white, four-door sedan with a sunroof.

Police are asking the public to review the photos and to contact police if they recognize any of the individuals or vehicle.

“At this time police are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to check on the well-being of all persons involved,” police say.

Police say the time in the photographs is incorrect.
