Police Asking For Help Identifying Suspect in a Hamilton Robbery

HPS officers are asking for help in identifying a suspect from a street robbery in Hamilton.

On Friday, August 30, 2019, shortly after 5:00 a.m., two males were waiting for a bus near the intersection of Main Street West and Osler Drive.

They were approached by a group of males who exited a vehicle and threatened them with a knife. The victims turned over their wallets and were not injured.

The group of male suspects drove away in a white four-door sedan.

Within minutes, one victim’s bank card was used at a nearby gas station to make a purchase. The person using the debit card was captured on store surveillance. Police are asking for assistance in identifying the suspect.

The suspect is a male believed to be in his early twenties, with a medium complexion, medium build with dark facial hair and dark hair.
