A pedestrian has been struck and seriously injured in Hamilton.

Police reported a collision shortly before 9:30 a.m. According to investigators, a pedestrian was hit by a car on Nash Rd. The road has since been closed for about 300 metres between Queenston Rd. and Dover. Dr.

The pedestrian’s injuries are not life-threatening, police say. They have been taken to a local hospital. Hamilton police have not publicly confirmed details about the pedestrian, or the driver. However, reports indicate the driver remained on scene.
