New luxury apartment building includes a ‘pet spa’ in Hamilton

A new, luxury apartment building celebrates its grand opening this week in Hamilton.

The development at 3120 Regional Road 56 in Binbrook will hold a grand opening ceremony with dignitaries tomorrow (Oct. 3), according to a press release.

Named the Windwood II, the development from Losani Properties follows the Windwood, also in Binbrook at 3200 Regional Road 56.

The three-storey building has 99 units, a handful of which are still available to rent, according to the website.

Losani Properties describes the Windwood II as a contemporary, smart building.

Smart features include a Losani Properties SmartAPP. Residents can book amenity spaces, receive mailbox notifications, lock doors remotely, as well as many other features directly with the app.

The rental development includes a mix of one-bedroom units, one-bedroom plus den units and two-bedroom layouts, ranging from 519 square feet to 934 square feet.

Units include one parking spot, balcony, stainless steel appliances and in-suite laundry.

There is a party lounge, social lounge, fitness gym and pet spa.

Of the units left still available to rent, there is a one-bedroom, 646-square-foot unit for $2,225 a month, and several two-bedroom units for $2,265 and up.

Losani also has plans for two more phases of the Windwood, according to Urban Toronto. Proposals for Windwood 3 and 4 are for two six-storey condominiums with retail or commercial space.
