A new Caribbean restaurant and bar has opened their doors in Hamilton and it looks simply spectacular.

Earlier this month, Allure Lounge, located at 362 Barton St. E, at the corner of Oak Avenue, opened for business and fired up their barbecues to serve up Caribbean-inspired seafood, jerk dishes, and vegan cuisine, as well as some Canadian dishes with a Caribbean twist.

On Monday (August 10) the Barton Village BIA, profiled the new business in their Member Monday post on Instagram.

The BIA notes that the new restaurant’s manager, Nadia, is no stranger to the Hamilton food scene as a previous restaurant owner in Stoney Creek. The new owner, Samantha, was a fan of Nadia’s food and they went into business together at this newly renovated Barton location.

Allure made the announcement of their impending opening back in May and opened their doors for inside and patio dining last week.

There’s plenty on the menu to set mouths watering, including lobster and jerk poutines, seafood and chicken pastas, as well as Ackee and Saltfish Bruschetta and classic Jamaican Brown Stew.

Allure will also be mixing up some fabulous cocktails like Rum punches and apple crantinis.

“Friendly prompt service, with nice Caribbean vibes,” one early review of Allure Lounge states. “Looking forward to trying the lobster poutine and jerk chicken pasta.”

Allure Lounge, Caribbean Restaurant and Bar is open Tuesday to Saturdays. For more information on their menu options and hours of operation, visit their website or follow them on Instagram.
