Multiple road closures in effect for annual street festival in Hamilton this weekend

The Dundas Cactus Festival is set to take place in Hamilton this weekend.
Hamilton City officials have put temporary road closures in place that will be in effect from Friday, August 18 at 3 p.m. until Sunday, August 20 at 7 p.m.
The following roads will be closed during the specified period:
- King St (Market-York)
- Oglivie St (Hatt-King)
- Millers Ln (Hatt-King)
- Cross St (Park-King)
- Sydenham St (Park-King)
These road closures are part of the city’s efforts to accommodate the numerous festivities planned for the Dundas Cactus Festival, an annual event that occurs every third weekend of August.
Local residents and festival-goers are advised to plan their routes accordingly, utilizing alternative roads and public transportation options to avoid disruptions.
