May 8 Weather: It’s going to feel like 25C in southern Ontario

The temperatures are rising, but those sunny skies we had in Mississauga and across southern Ontario Tuesday will be filled with clouds on Wednesday (May 8).

Residents will wake up to mainly cloudy skies and increasing winds in the morning, according to the latest weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Winds will head west at 30 km/h in the early hours before gusting to 70 km/h in the morning. There’ll be a high of 23 degrees Celsius during the day, with a humidex of 25.

The UV index will be 6 or high.

The cloudy conditions will continue through the evening, with winds north at 20 km/h gusting to 40 and becoming light in the evening.

Winds will become east at 20 km/h through the overnight and into the morning. A low of 8 degrees Celsius is expected.
