Man suffers life-threatening injuries after a shooting in Hamilton

A man is in life-threatening condition after a shooting in Hamilton overnight.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a shooting at 501 Barton St. E., Woodlands Park, Wednesday night (Aug. 23) shortly after 10 p.m., Hamilton Police said in a press release.
When police arrived, they found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The man was transported to hospital and remains in stable condition with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police are looking for suspects and ask anyone who may have witnessed this crime to come forward.
Investigators also ask that anyone with a residence, business or vehicle with cameras to review their security surveillance between 9:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. for any suspicious activity related to this event.
