The City of Hamilton has not recorded any new COVID-19-related fatalities since almost two weeks ago on June 24. Since then, Hamilton’s death toll has remained 44.

There are no active institutional or community outbreaks being reported at this time and it has been that way for a number of weeks now.

This means there are fewer than 90 active cases of COVID-19 in the community for the time being.

Three people are currently being treated for the virus in Hamilton hospitals.

Meanwhile, Ontario reported 154 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, along with 160 newly resolved cases.

The total number of cases now stands at 35,948, which includes 31,426 marked as resolved and 2,689 deaths.

The province completed roughly 17,303 tests for the novel coronavirus over the previous 24 hours.
