Lane closures for six Hamilton streets in effect until Oct. 11

Hamilton motorists can expect delays in some areas of Hamilton because of lane closures in six streets until Oct. 11.
The City of Hamilton announced the closures will be from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on:
- Upper Ottawa Street: Fennell–Mountain Brow
- Nash Road: Barton–Queenston
- Fennell Avenue: Mountain Brow–Upper Sherman
- Stone Church Road: Garth–Upper Paradise
- Stonehenge Road: Meadowlands–Stone Church
- Wilson Street: Fiddlers Green–Halson
There will also be a road closure on Concession 4 between Ofield Road and Brock Road today (Sept. 28), weather permitting, to replace a road culvert. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route.
Centennial Parkway North between Goderich Road and Arrowsmith Road will have lane restrictions today (Sept. 28) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for bridge work.
Gage Avenue North at Cannon Street East will also have lane restrictions today (Sept. 28) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for red light camera installation.
Starting Friday, Sept. 29, lane restrictions will be in effect on Weirs Lane (escarpment access) north of Johnson Avenue until Tuesday, Oct. 10 to upgrade the retaining wall.
