After almost a month, the Highway 8 hill in Dundas has been reopened, the city announced Wednesday (Oct. 30).

“Earlier this morning,” a city press release says, “the City of Hamilton re-opened the Hwy 8 Hill in Dundas after completing substantial repairs over the last month.”

The access was closed on October 2 due to significant erosion caused by rain and groundwater.

The well-used access reopens just in time for a significant fall storm which is expected to dump up to 50 mm of rain over the next two days.
