Hamiltonians can now give feedback about the Hamilton Fire Department and its services.
The insights gathered will play a crucial role in shaping the City’s ‘Corporate Asset Management Plan,’ which is essential for meeting provincial legislative requirements.
“It’s so important to me that the people of Hamilton have their voices heard as we work on their behalf. I encourage everyone to play a role in this process so we can make infrastructure investments that match our city’s priorities and address our residents’ needs,” said Mayor Horwath.
The surveys conducted in 2022 focused on improving roads, engineered structures, water, wastewater, and stormwater, while additional ones earlier this year covered topics like parking, police, and waste management.
“The ongoing plan is to conduct similar surveys for all City services throughout 2023 and 2024,” according to the City of Hamilton
City officials aim to consider the thoughts, opinions, and satisfaction levels of Hamiltonians as they prioritize strategies and formulate the plan.
“By participating in the survey, residents can influence how taxpayer dollars are allocated, ensuring a balance between community preferences and legal obligations,” City officials said in a statement.
Residents interested in participating in the survey can do so in three ways. They can access the online survey by visiting the official engagement portal or over the phone by calling :9055462424 ext. 1110
The survey is set to remain open until August 28, 2023.
