OCAA West leading Mohawk Mountaineers will honour the three-time Ontario high school champion Cathedral High School before Wednesday's game vs Sheridan

The second ranked women’s college basketball squad in Ontario will pay tribute tonight to the number one ranked high school team three years running when the Mohawk Mountaineers honour the Cathedral High School Gaels, holders of an incredible 90-0 record through three consecutive undefeated seasons.

Cathedral High’s senior girl’s basketball team completed their unprecedented 90-0 three-year sweep with a decisive 81-43 win over fellow Hamilton school St. John Henry Newman Catholic Secondary School on home court in the OFSAA championship game November 25.

The OCAA West-leading Mohawk women, who are riding an eight-game winning streak of their own, will honour the Cathedral players before their game Wednesday against the Sheridan Bruins of Oakville.

The Mountaineers are tenth-ranked in Canada.
