A new neighbourhood park will be opening in Waterdown.

The City of Hamilton is asking residents to provide feedback about what playground structure and features they want for the proposed Clear Skies Park as well as comment on the proposed park design concept.

The park will be located at 45 Gunby Blvd. in Waterdown. It will be developed on an initial 2.7-acre property parcel with a future expansion of the park on lands to the North East of the site.

Click here to see the plan and do the online survey on the proposed park. The online survey is open until Sept. 8.

“Participants should focus on the overall intended play value, style and intent of the features and structures shown instead of the appearance of any one item,” the City wrote on its website. “While all efforts will be made to incorporate the elements most desired by participants, site constraints or variation in play variety may require equivalent elements to be selected by the City that would meet the general play value of an element selected by participants.”
