Hamilton to host second virtual town hall to address COVID-19 concerns

The City of Hamilton announced Tuesday (March 24) that they’ll be holding another virtual Town Hall this week to address concerns around COVID-19.

The City of Hamilton announced Tuesday (March 24) that they’ll be holding another virtual Town Hall this week to address concerns around COVID-19.

Mayor Fred Eisenberger will be joined by Hamilton’s director of Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Paul Johnson and a member of the local Public Health Service will be fielding questions from residents and discussing the city’s response to the crisis so far Wednesday night (March 25).

The Town Hall will be streamed live on the City’s YouTube channel and on Cable14 at 7 p.m.

There are three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hamilton, bringing the city’s total to 35, as of noon Tuesday.

The provincial total of confirmed cases sits at 588 and seven deaths related to the virus have been reported so far, according to the government’s website.
