A driver was stopped by Hamilton Police this week travelling at a “significantly high speed” in wet conditions on Haldibrook Road in the city’s south end with two young children in the vehicle.

“All it takes is one moment, and everything you know can change. Slow down,” was the message from Hamilton Police after suspending the driver’s license for 30 days and impounding his car for 14 days.

The driver was clocked at 118 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone.
