Hamilton Police search for man wanted in connection to commercial break and enters

Hamilton Police are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection to several commercial break and enters earlier this year.

Hamilton Police are on the lookout for a man wanted in connection to several commercial break and enters earlier this year.

Police say in a press release issued Tuesday (May 5) that detectives from the BEAR Unit have identified 31-year-old Matthew Campbell-Lewis as the suspect in a series of commercial entries that took place between February 4th and February 6th this year.

In those incidents, police say that more than $5000 was stolen from secured compounds.

Detectives have also identified a stolen vehicle used during the incidents, it has since been recovered.

Police say they believe Campbell-Lewis is aware there is a warrant for his arrest and he is currently evading apprehension.

Campbell-Lewis is described as standing approximately 6’0 tall and weighing 187 lbs.

He has several tattoos including the word ‘Irish’ and a four-leaf clover on the right side of his neck along with the word ‘Cancer’ and the number ‘69’ on the left side of his neck.
