Hamilton Police investigating hate-based graffiti at a Hamilton synagogue

Hamilton Police are investigating an act of mischief involving anti-Semitic messaging at a synagogue.

On October 5 shortly after 9:00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to the Beth Jacob Synagogue located at 375 Aberdeen Avenue for anti–Semitic messaging on the property. Through investigation, police believe the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Friday night.

Hamilton Police Detectives and the Hate Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident and members of the public are asked to review their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
