Hamilton Police continue to comb area where bones were discovered

Ancaster residents should expect an increased police presence in the area Friday as they investigate the discovery of bones at an industrial site.

Ancaster residents should expect an increased police presence in the area Friday as they investigate the discovery of bones at an industrial site.

The area involved is located south of Wilson Street West and Garner Road and has been secured by police since last Wednesday.

On Friday morning, members of the Hamilton Police Service will be searching the area looking for additional evidence.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Branch continue to lead the investigation and are waiting for the results from the examination of the recovered bones.

Police anticipate maintaining a presence in the area Friday and, if required, throughout the weekend.
