Hamilton Police Arrest 18-Year-Old In Connection To Parking Lot Shooting

Hamilton Police have arrested an 18-year-old in relation to a shooting that occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 23.

Hamilton Police have arrested an 18-year-old in relation to a shooting that occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 23.

The shooting occurred in a parking lot at the intersection of Cannon Street East and Sanford Avenue North. Through investigation, detectives identified a male who administered bear spray during the incident.

On Friday, September 26, 2019, Hamilton Police arrested and charged an 18-year-old Hamilton man for his involvement in this occurrence. He was taken into police custody and later released. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, to answer to several criminal charges including assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose and administer noxious substance.

The male is not cooperating with police.
