Tracey Gilchrist of Binbrook won a $50,000 top prize with Instant Bingo.

Gilchrist, a 46-year-old restaurant manager, went to the store to pick up a couple Instant tickets, the OLG says in a press release.

“The last ticket I picked was an Instant Bingo. It was in a very different spot from the others I selected,” she said, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her cheque.

The mother of one discovered her win later in the day.

“I wasn’t paying attention to my ticket and I uncovered a box and thought it was a $22 win,” she said.

“I pulled out my phone to check my ticket using the OLG Lottery App and I was shocked to see I won $50,000!”

Tracey has a travel tradition with her own mother and plans to go on a nice big vacation with her.

“I was so happy and shocked and excited! I couldn’t believe that something like that would happen to me,” she said.

The OLG Prize Centre in Toronto has resumed in-person prize claims for winning-ticket holders of $50,000 or more by appointment only.

The winning ticket was purchased at Avondale on Rymal Road in Hannon.
