Police have pressed charges against one male and one female after reportedly seizing a quantity of drugs and tools used for breaking and entering.

The Hamilton duo — who were previously wanted by Halton police and OPP — pulled into the Burlington GO lot in a stolen truck, Deputy Chief Roger Wilkie reported today.

Wilkie says the two began fleeing on foot when they saw Halton police units.

Police pursued them on foot and detained them. Halton police’s K9 unit allegedly located a bag belonging to the suspects that contained break and enter tools, as well as a quantity of meth and oxycodone.

Multiple charges have been laid.

The couple’s identity has not been released by police at this time.
