A Hamilton resident is celebrating after a big lottery win.

OLG has congratulated 57 year old Francis Burtt for winning the top prize of $250,000 in the Instant Super Money Multiplier.

“It was a surreal feeling when I scanned my ticket and discovered this big win,” said Burtt. “It didn’t seem to be true.”

Coincidentally, this is Burtt’s second lottery win — he won $25,000 in the Instant Crossword game about 15 years prior.

The widowed construction worker plans to share his win with his brother and take an early retirement.

His winning ticket was purchased at Payless Convenience on Kenilworth Avenue in Hamilton.
