The family of a missing woman last seen on Friday in Hamilton is concerned for her safety.

Amanda Cowie, 29, was last seen at home on Friday, May 24 around 7 p.m. in the central mountain area of Hamilton, Hamilton Police said in a press release on May 29.

Cowie told family she was attending a job interview on Saturday and coming home afterward, but she never arrived, police said.

Cowie is described as five-feet-six inches tall, 140 to 150 pounds with a medium build. She has bleached blonde hair with orange roots and green eyes.

She has a tattoo of large flowers and an anchor with the words “Refuse to Sink” on her right shoulder, and tattoos on her neck of a moon, chef’s knife and a pizza slice.
