Early morning shooting in Hamilton prompts police investigation

Hamilton Police are appealing to the public for assistance after an alleged shooting, with recent surveillance footage revealing vehicles of interest.
On Friday (Nov. 3) around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a reported shooting in the vicinity of Kings Forest Drive. and Nova Drive.
Police say they were notified after a resident discovered a shell casing on the roadway.
According to investigators, video footage revealed a grey sedan and white sedan driving aggressively in the area, accompanied by several loud bangs.
The grey sedan proceeded southbound on Kings Forest Drive and veered off the road at Nova Drive, police say.
Both vehicles were last seen fleeing northbound on Kings Forest Drive, authorities note.
Residents in the vicinity are urged to review their security footage. Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to contact 905-546-4067.
