Update: Cyclist hit and injured in Hamilton

Update (12:01 p.m.): Hamilton police’s traffic division announced that Airport Road East, from Upper James to Miles Road, has reopened.
A cyclist was injured in an early morning crash in Hamilton.
The cyclist was sent to hospital after a collision on Airport Road just around 4 a.m. today (July 26), Hamilton Police said.
Airport Road was closed from Upper James to Miles Road as police investigated the collision.
Update: Police say a vehicle hit a 29-year-old male cyclist. The man was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperative, police add.
Roads reopened as of around 8 a.m.
