Emergency crews continue to search for a missing Hamilton man after his personal watercraft was found along the shoreline of the Grand River.

24-year-old Nagim Mohamed was reported missing just before 9 p.m. Wednesday after he took the watercraft out into the river earlier in the evening but did not return.

He was last seen launching at Chiefswood Park in Six Nations.

Police believe Nagim was not wearing a life jacket.

His personal watercraft was found 3 kilometres east of the park around 7:50 p.m.

Nagim is described as a 5-foot-six, 120-pound Black male, with brown eyes and short buzzed hair.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt with black coloured shorts.
